Introduction

Sant Kabir Nagar is a part of Basti Division. Khalilabad city is the district headquarters. Sant Kabir Nagar was created in the year 1997 in the eastern belt. Sant Kabir Nagar is named after a well known Sant (poet) and philosopher Sant Kabir who lived at Maghar town of the district. It has been carved out of 131 villages of district Basti and 161 villages of districts Siddharthnagar.
