Introduction
Sambhal district headquarter is Bahjoi town. It was created on 28 September 2011 as one of three new districts in the state. It was formerly named "Bhimnagar". The district is surrounded by Amroha district on the north, Ghaziabad, Bulandsahar & Gautambudh Nagar districts on the South , Bijnore & Jyotibaphule Nagar districts on the East and Baghpat district on the West.
