Introduction
Ghaziabad is a large suburban district of Uttar Pradesh that is a part of Meerut Division. The town of Ghaziabad is the administrative headquarters of the district. As its boundary is adjacent to Delhi, it acts as the main entrance of Uttar Pradesh and that is why it is also called the Gate Way of Uttar Pradesh and it comes under National Capital Region. Ghaziabad was one of the Tehsils of Meerut District that was carved out of Meerut district on the 14th November 1976.
